The group project suggests exemplary housing for desert city Beer-Sheva. The ambiguous fellings towards the historical precedents for exemplary housing such as the IBA expos in Berlin and the exemplary housing projects of Beer-Sheva were the driving force of planning. The basic housing block and the super-block were the bricks for the master-plan. The social values carried by the block and the super-block were aimed to be manifested with the possibility of multitude instead of singularity and difference instead of identity.

The relation between the blocks defined the public areas. Two different circulation systems were applied, one is the radiant linear that connects the project to the city and provides views to the horizon and the other is convoluted and meant to be used by dwellers, revealing cosy public spaces, passing between open to close, wide to narrow.

An effort was given to the landscape development, with different measures of cultivating the existing desert. Well-groomed gardens are nearby the blocks and benefiting of the pleasant climate provided by its shade . The paths are escorted with desert terraces and leads to the heart of the project, which is left untreated to maintain the desert virginal quality.
